Job summary

FEDITC, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to work in Warren, MI. The ISSO will advise on security of information systems and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain DoD-compliant security controls.

Required are a United States Citizenship, active Secret DoD clearance, and a background in GRC, policy development, and RMF implementations. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and security operations with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of proven Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) experience or related role.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• DoD/Military Training: 531-25B30-C45, J-3B-0440, RMF Implementers Course or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the ISO to ensure the appropriate operations security posture is maintained for the Information system.
• Serve as principal advisor on all matters involving the security of an Information System.
• Manage day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Monitor information system and environment.
• Manage and control changes to the system.
• Handle incidents.
• Assist in developing security policies and procedures and System Security Plan.
