Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Richardson, Texas seeks an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee compliance, assessment, and operations of GOTS/LIS systems. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (Secret).

Onsite duty in Richardson, with DoD-regulated training and FI monitoring. The ISSM will manage security posture, coordinate with DCSA, and drive ATOs, implementations, and remediation actions with site stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance
• Experience with cybersecurity compliance per DCSA DAAG/JSIG/RMF
• Knowledge of NISPOM and related guidance
• Past direct leadership or project/program management experience
• IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM or equivalent)
• Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening
• Experience with RMF and non-defense regs (PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA)

Responsibilities

• Maintain IAM Level III certification as required by DoDD 8140/8570
• Complete DCSA and Collins Aerospace training within 6 months of appointment
• Accountability for all systems under purview
• Maintain knowledge of CIS functions, security policies, and safeguards
• Coordinate with DCSA SCA/ISSP on authorizations and new technologies
• Develop and maintain POAMs with site stakeholders
• Coordinate DCSA SVA prep activities for assigned CAGE
