Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX seeks an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee security posture for assigned systems. This onsite role requires IAM III certification, strong RMF/compliance expertise, and leadership of security programs across stakeholders.

Responsibilities include coordinating authorizations, maintaining CIS policies, and managing security training and incident response plans. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance as stipulated by DAAG/JSIG/NISPOM regulators.
• Past direct leadership or project/program management experience.
• IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM or other).
• Cybersecurity, systems security or hardening knowledge.
• RMF and/or non-defense regulations auditing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IAM Level III certification commensurate with role as required by DoDD 8140 (8570).
• Complete all DCSA and Collins Aerospace required training within 6 months of appointment.
• Accountability for all systems under their assigned purview.
• Maintain knowledge of CIS functions, security policies, safeguards, and operational security measures.
• Coordinate with DCSA SCA/ISSP on authorizations and security activities.
• Develop and update site POAMs with stakeholders to address weaknesses and timelines.
• Coordinate DCSA SVA preparation activities for assigned CAGE with Site ISSM.
