Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Richardson, TX is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for an onsite role. The ISSM oversees compliance, assessments, and operations for systems under their purview, and works with DCSA/Site teams on authorizations, security policies, and incident response.

The candidate must have IAM Level III, RMF/JSIG experience, and a strong leadership background, with DoD/NISPOM awareness and a relevant degree. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance as stipulated by DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), JSIG, and NISPOM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IAM Level III certification commensurate with the role as required by DoDD 8140 (8570).
• Complete all DCSA and Collins Aerospace required training within 6 months of appointment.
• Be accountable for all systems under their purview.
• Maintain knowledge of CIS functions, security policies, and operational security measures.
• Coordinate with DCSA SCA/ISSP on authorizations, new technologies, and policy interpretations.
