Job summary

Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking an experienced ISSE for a DoD program in Richardson, TX. This hands-on role provides on-site security engineering, systems administration, and information assurance support to the program.

An active Secret clearance is required, with Top Secret preferred. The qualified candidate will lead and collaborate with a small team to maintain secure systems and readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring computer systems and networks.
• Leadership experience managing a small team of admins/security engineers.
• Experience delivering highly technical solutions and communicating their importance to stakeholders.
• DISA ACAS and Trellix certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of RMF/NIST/NISPOM requirements and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administering, maintaining, upgrading, and ensuring readiness of secured enterprise systems (VMware vSphere, Linux, Windows).
• Perform site-lead/management duties for a team of System Administrators and ISSEs.
• Provide senior-level security engineering and development support across the system life cycle.
• Conduct continuous monitoring and security testing using Nessus, ACAS, Trellix, Splunk.
• Develop and maintain authorization/re-authorization support documentation.
