Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an experienced Information Security Manager (ISSM) to lead DoD cybersecurity activities onsite. Responsibilities include RMF-based authorization, continuous monitoring, and risk management across classified information systems.

Strong DoD framework knowledge and DoD clearance are essential. The role requires 8+ years of related experience, TS clearance, and IAM Level III certification.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required day one.
• IAM Level III certification compliant with DoD 8570/8140 (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
• Experience performing ISSM responsibilities for classified or controlled information systems.
• Advanced knowledge of RMF and DoD system authorization processes.
• Experience executing authorization and continuous monitoring using JSIG/DAAG.
• Knowledge of CYBER regulations, contractual requirements, and DD Form 254 interpretation.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity responsibilities for assigned information systems and manage risk.
• Lead inspections, assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Implement RMF/JSIG/DAAG for system authorization and sustainment.
• Maintain DD Form 254 awareness and ensure alignment with mission objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and validate cybersecurity plans and artifacts for audits.
• Communicate cybersecurity status to leadership and authors.
• Drive POA&M closure and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead and participate in CCBs and security-change reviews.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide mentoring to ISSOs and deliver status reports to senior leadership.
