Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in San Antonio, TX to support a government customer. The role focuses on RMF compliance, ATO maintenance, and continuous monitoring across DoD networks and enclaves.

The ISSM will validate personnel certifications, administer RMF documentation, coordinate with TSRL and eMASS, and advise leadership on risk and security posture. It requires DoD 8140 certifications and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working RMF requirements with cybersecurity services.
• Security+ certification required.
• Clearance: active SECRET clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ISSM cybersecurity support for DoD networks and enclaves (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, etc.).
• Validate that personnel meet DoD 8140 baseline certification/training before granting elevated access.
• Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture.
• Maintain RMF artifacts and ensure ATO status and documentation up-to-date.
