Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). This full-time role (36 hours/week) requires 7:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30 shifts with weekend rotation and float coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include independent nursing care, care planning, and supervising unlicensed staff while collaborating with the health team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. IL RN licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited nursing program.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current IL nursing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
