Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). This full-time position offers a 36-hour work week and shift patterns 07:00-19:30 and 19:00-07:30 with weekend rotation.

You will provide compassionate nursing care, utilize the nursing process, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and high-quality patient outcomes for vulnerable infants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• Current IL RN license required; BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care in the ISCU.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Communicate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
