Job summary

Franciscan Medical Group in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Training and IS/EMR specialist to identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve efficiency, train providers and staff on effective EMR use, and develop policies guiding patient care processes.

You will maintain professional data handling, conduct research on operational issues, coordinate EPIC credentialing within 90 days, and work across teams to ensure compliant and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience training on IS platforms/applications, clinical systems, EHRs, or teaching.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
• Ability to present complex materials to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment.
• Must obtain EPIC Credentialing within 90 days of hire.
