Job summary

Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) seeks an experienced Section Supervisor to lead frontline staff handling IRP and IFTA applications. You will ensure accurate, timely processing and exceptional service for carriers, customers, and internal partners.

As a supervisory leader, you will coach and develop staff, monitor workflows, and enforce regulatory requirements while driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must be willing at times to work varying hours as needed based on peak seasons for IRP and IFTA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team, strengthening performance through coaching, training, workflow management, and quality assurance practices; monitor work queues, guide staff through complex transactions, and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts, streamline processes, and maintain a positive, solutions-focused work environment; collaborate with leadership and other units to address operational needs and resolve escalations.
