Job summary

Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) seeks an Operations & Management Consultant Manager to lead the statewide CDL and Motor Vehicle program operations. You will supervise staff, enforce CDL compliance, and drive modernization while coordinating with agency leadership and external partners.

The role emphasizes policy implementation, service quality, and staff development, with a focus on ensuring regulatory adherence and program excellence across the state.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience overseeing large teams and operations.
• Ability to guide policy, procedures, and compliance with CDL requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership and direction for Florida’s Commercial Driver License and Motor Vehicle program operations while ensuring exceptional service to the public, internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
• Oversee staff and supervisory personnel, strengthening workforce performance through effective coaching, development, and management practices.
