Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Ironworker Leadman to direct and supervise a crew in planning, layout, installation and alignment on industrial projects, in full compliance with plans, specifications, tolerances, and codes. You will motivate the team to work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

This is a full-time role with typical 50‑hour weeks, up to 90% travel to project sites, and accountability for safety, inspections, and on-site coordination of journeymen and craftsmen.

Qualifications

• 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Some experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and take corrective action to minimize hazards.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and safety rules.
• Train and implement lockout/tag out and fall protection.
• Inspect equipment daily and ensure crew compliance with plans.
• Coordinate and supervise journeyman and craftsmen to meet schedule.
• Maintain safe, productive, and quality-focused work practices on site.
