Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks an Ironworker Foreman to direct and supervise a crew on construction sites, ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and codes while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating journeymen, conducting toolbox talks, enforcing 100% tie-off, reviewing JSA, and driving quality results across disciplines.

This full-time role requires 50-hour weeks, up to 90% travel to project sites, and compensation at $52 per hour, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
• Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices.
• Implement lockout/tag out procedures in a safe manner.
• Implement 100% tie off/fall protection.
• Follow the Mastec planning/JSA process for your crew.
• Report ALL safety events and near misses to your supervisor.
• Conduct effective Gang box meetings and align performance goals for your crew.
• Examine/inspect field conditions and take corrective actions as needed.
