TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled assembly and erection professional to layout, install and assemble steel components per blueprints and specifications. The role involves rigging, hoisting with cranes, welding, and ensuring precise alignment on active construction sites.

Candidate must read plans, fabricate steel parts, and supervise safe, efficient placement of members while complying with safety rules and project requirements. OT may be required.

Formación

• Reads blueprints to determine material locations and quantities.
• Fabricates metal parts per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Works with cranes/rigging to position steel members safely.

Responsabilidades

• Reads specifications or blueprints to determine material locations, quantities, sizes.
• Fabricates metal parts such as steel frames, columns, beams, or girders.
• Unloads and positions prefabricated steel units for hoisting with cranes.
• Verifies alignment using plumb bobs, lasers, transits, or levels.
• Cuts, bends, or welds steel pieces with torches or welding equipment.
• Moves structural members into final positions using hand tools and jacks.
• Bolts or rivets structural-steel members for permanent assembly.
• Assembles hoisting equipment or rigging to move heavy materials.
• Estimating sizes, distances, and quantities for work activities.
• Inspects workers' output for safety and contract compliance.
