Job summary

TIC Inc. is seeking skilled ironworkers to support layout, installation, and erection of structural steel per blueprints and standards in a dynamic construction setting.

You will read blueprints, fabricate and position steel components, verify alignment, and operate or direct hoisting equipment. Candidates should be able to work outdoors, lift heavy materials, and comply with safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely.
• Strong communication with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications or blueprints to determine material needs.
• Fabricate metal parts such as steel frames, beams, or girders.
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting.
• Verify alignment of structural steel members with plumb bobs or lasers.
• Cut, bend or weld steel pieces.
• Move structural steel into final positions and bolt/weld.
• Assemble hoisting equipment to move heavy materials.
