Job summary

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an IRF/LTCH Unit Secretary to join our Westborough, MA campus. This part-time role covers 36 hours weekly with weekday shifts 3:00 PM–11:30 PM and every other weekend 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, plus additional weekend options.

Under the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate unit clerical services, support daily operations, and maintain effective communication and environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Degree/Certificate in Medical Terminology preferred.
• Current Certification in BLS of Adult, Child and Infant.

Responsibilities

• Organizes activities on the unit and assists nursing staff with clerical operations.
• Acts as a source of communication and maintains the unit environment.
