Job summary

Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Westborough, MA is seeking a Unit Administrative Assistant (Unit Secretary) for full-time, 40 hours, 3-11:30PM, including every other weekend.

Under the Director of Nursing, you will organize unit activities, coordinate clerical services, maintain the unit environment, and serve as the primary communication link for staff and patients.

A High School Diploma is required; prior experience is preferred and BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Degree/Certificate in Medical Terminology preferred.
• Current Certification in BLS of Adult, Child and Infant.

Responsibilities

• Organize unit activities and assist nursing staff with daily clerical operations.
