Justice Federal Credit Union in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Deposit Products Specialist to serve as a dedicated liaison for IRA administration and the credit union’s check order processes. The role focuses on delivering excellent member service, identifying needs, and cross-selling products and services while ensuring accurate IRA transactions and timely notices.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• A two year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the liaison for IRA Administration and the credit union’s check order processor.
• Provides excellent Member Service to prospective and current credit union Members; and engages in proactive consultative conversations to identify Member needs and cross sell products and services.
• Processes IRA transactions, transfers, distributions, RMD disbursements, and Member notices accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Reviews existing departmental processes and makes recommendations to enhance efficiency and Member service.
