Qualifications

• Serves as the liaison for IRA Administration and the credit union's check order processor.
• Provides excellent Member Service and engages in consultative conversations to identify needs and cross-sell products/services.
• Processes IRA transactions, transfers, distributions, RMD disbursements, and member notices accurately and timely.
• Reviews existing departmental processes and makes recommendations to enhance efficiency and Member service.

Job description

Justice Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member driven candidate with high level to detail for the position ofDeposit ProductsSpecialist.

This role ensures product compliance with all credit union the secure policies/procedures and conducts daily quality reviews of system reporting and analysis for these products. The Deposit Products Specialist is responsible for administering deceased, dormant, Power of Attorney and escheated Member accounts while ensuring regulatory compliance and providing excellent Member service.

Key Job Functions:

• Serves as the liaison for IRA Administration and the credit union's check order processor.
• Provides excellent Member Service to prospective and current credit union Members; and engages in proactive consultative conversations to identify Member needs and cross sell products and services.
• Processes IRA transactions, transfers, distributions, RMD disbursements, and Member notices accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Reviews existing departmental processes and makes recommendations to enhance efficiency and Member service.

• A two year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs., as needed, and requires extended periods of sitting and/or standing and to be able to use PC, copier, scanner, fax, etc.
