Job summary

Mirastar Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Services Representative to assist members with establishing new memberships, IRAs, and subsidiary accounts. The role includes opening and maintaining various depository and retirement products and performing basic financial transactions.

The position also involves cross-selling within guidelines, supporting teller functions, and ensuring compliance with BSA-AML and related regulations while delivering friendly, accurate service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2–3 years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Notary Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new membership and subsidiary accounts including all depository and retirement products.
• Assess member loan needs from start to finish and process applications; may include closing.
• Cross-sell products within established guidelines.
• Perform account maintenance such as transfers, renewals, and ownership changes.
• Perform basic teller functions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and stop payments.
• Answer questions and resolve problems on products and services.
• Promote products and services and participate in events.
• Maintain compliance with BSA-AML and other regulations.
