Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) within the Weapon System Integration team in Indianapolis, IN. The role drives technical and programmatic excellence in airborne systems development and collaborates across USA, USAF, USMC, and USN stakeholders.

You will lead a cross‑functional team, manage cost/schedule/technical performance, and coordinate with the Program Manager to meet schedules and budgets while delivering compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• DoD program management or IPT experience is required or strongly preferred.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of cost, schedule, and technical performance for airborne systems.
• Lead a cross-functional team for development and production of airborne software/electrical/mechanical systems.
• Represent the product team at governance boards and coordinate PMRs with customers and subcontractors.
• Provide programmatic and technical direction with staffing forecasts and resource management.
• Act as CAM for EV and EAC, manage risk and opportunity planning.
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to processes and milestones.
