Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to serve as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for a defense development program based in Ft. Wayne, IN.

You will lead technical execution, coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams, and ensure delivery against contract, cost, and schedule targets. This onsite role requires a STEM degree, 10+ years of defense program experience, EVMS/IMP/IMS expertise, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 10+ years of defense program experience.
• Experience in program management and IPT execution within the defense industry.
• Leadership of cross-functional engineering teams and related admin functions.
• Experience with EVMS/IMP/IMS or risk management processes.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government clearance required; U.S. citizenship necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet contractual, technical, and schedule requirements.
• Communicate program status and milestones to Raytheon leadership and customers.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and exploit opportunities; mentor team members.
• Travel approximately 10% to support the program.
