Job summary

Moog, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an IPT Lead Engineer – Development to lead design, integration and testing of the TVC actuation system for space programs.

You will coordinate with prime customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver compliant, well-documented solutions across the development lifecycle. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering and 5+ years of space system design with at least 3 years leading technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of space system design experience.
• 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work extended hours and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead IPT overseeing design, development, integration and test of TVC actuation system.
• Guide development plans and schedules; provide status and metrics.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams across lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure process alignment.
• Prepare for and participate in customer reviews and design reviews.
