Moog in Buffalo, NY is seeking an IPT Lead Engineer to drive technical oversight and hands-on design for TVC actuation systems within our Space and Defense Group. The role leads cross-functional teams, coordinates end-to-end development, and interfaces with major customers on complex programs.

Ideal candidates bring extensive space systems design experience, senior leadership for technical teams, and a proven track record in risk management, earned value management, and program scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance (S) with TS preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; 5+ years with a Master's.
• Experience across space systems design, development lifecycle, and customer reviews.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage risk and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated product team (IPT) oversight, direction, and hands-on design for TVC actuation system.
• Coordinate end-to-end design, integration, testing to meet program requirements.
• Develop and maintain plans, schedules, and basis of estimates for tasks.
• Present at customer reviews and liaise with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Manage staffing, external collaborations, and future project opportunities.
