Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an IPT Lead Engineer for the Actuation & Avionics team in East Aurora, NY, reporting to the Director, SDG BU Engineering. The role leads design, integration and testing of TVC actuation systems for advanced missile programs, with cross‑functional collaboration with Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Onsite in Buffalo, NY, requires strong leadership and engineering execution. The candidate will manage staffing, schedules, risk, and customer reviews, while guiding teams

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a security clearance (TS preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution with 10+ years (Bachelor) or 5+ years (Master).
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in space system design >5 years and leading technical teams (≥3 years).
• Experience in risk management, EVMS, and customer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and hands‑on design for TVC actuation system integration.
• Ensure end‑to‑end product design, integration, and test to meet program requirements.
• Lead development, maintenance and transition of designs into production.
• Coordinate across program teams, customers and external partners throughout the lifecycle.
