Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks an IPT Lead Engineer - Development to lead technical oversight for the TVC actuation system across the full development lifecycle.

You will coordinate with prime customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver compliant, well-documented hardware for advanced missile defense programs, with opportunities for growth and leadership in a dynamic space and defense group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; 5+ years with a Master's.
• Ability to quickly understand new concepts and organize work to meet schedules.
• Strong communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; willingness to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for the IPT Lead Engineer role, directing design and integration of the TVC actuation system.
• Ensure end-to-end product design, integration, testing, and transition to production.
• Lead trade studies to meet mechanical, environmental, and system requirements.
• Coordinate across internal teams and external partners through the development cycle.
• Develop development plans, schedules, and Basis of Estimates for tasks.
