Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Division IPT Lead within its Military Aircraft Group, to provide cross-functional leadership across development, production, and sustainment programs. The role requires extensive aerospace experience, strong program execution discipline, and the ability to coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.

The position is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with potential work from East Aurora, NY or Torrance, CA. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ten or more years of aerospace, defense, or closely related industry experience.
• Five or more years supporting complex product development programs.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams through influence rather than direct authority.
• Experience driving execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain functions.
• Strong understanding of systems development, production environments, and lifecycle program management.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM), critical path analysis, forecasting, risk management, and change management principles.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions and drive results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Preferred: Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide IPT leadership for development, production, and sustainment programs within the Military Aircraft Group.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet technical, schedule, budget, quality, and customer commitments.
• Drive alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management organizations.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of complex technical, production, and field-performance challenges.
• Ensure program risks, assumptions, and change activities are identified, assessed, and effectively managed throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support successful New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and transitions into low-rate and full-rate production.
• Apply strong program execution disciplines, including earned value management, critical path analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
• Lead technical planning and performance activities, including CEAC development, variance analysis, and recovery planning when required.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and build trusted relationships through transparent communication and dependable execution.
• Promote a 'One Moog Team' culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.
• Influence technology, product, and business strategies by aligning current program execution with future customer and market needs.
