Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an IP Operations Administrator to join our Intellectual Property team. You will support attorneys and paralegals with patent matters, manage the docket in our IPMS, and prepare documents and reports.

You’ll handle billing in Legal Tracker, manage electronic files, and help improve workflows with a proactive, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to prioritize in a

Qualifications

• Experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary in IP law.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with patent docketing software such as Anaqua.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals in IP matters.
• Manage IP Portfolio in docket system, including file creation and upkeep.
• Handle inboxes, distribute and save documents to electronic repository.
• Draft documents and forms for patent prosecution and administrative tasks.
• Process invoices in Legal Tracker and manage billing workflows.
• Respond to inquiries and assist with routine questions.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and handle additional duties as needed.
