Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Docketing Specialist. This fully remote role supports attorneys with IP calendaring across federal, state, ITC, and agency matters using Milana.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years IP docketing in a law firm, a paralegal certificate or equivalent, and strong MS Office skills. The firm offers a remote schedule for the right candidate with a competitive Boston salary range.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years IP litigation docketing experience in a law firm.
• Docketing in ITC, federal district courts, arbitration, and the Federal Circuit.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Milana and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Enter deadlines into Milana calendaring system for IP litigation matters.
• Review court documents and legal correspondence for docketing.
• Provide jurisdictional research and summaries to case teams.
• Create and circulate reports for deadlines and confirmations.
• Provide back-up docketing for Houston and Dallas inboxes.
• Elevate questions to senior docketing staff and manager.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance procedures and workflow.
• Stay informed on evolving rules in forums where the firm practices.
