Job summary

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks an Intellectual Property Litigation Docketing Specialist to join the Litigation Docketing Department. You will calendar deadlines across IP matters, including ITC, using Milana, while collaborating with attorneys and staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm procedures.

This role offers a fully remote schedule for the right candidate and opportunities to support multiple docketing priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of intellectual property litigation docketing experience in a law firm.
• Docketing experience in ITC, federal district courts, arbitration, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills; professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review court documents and legal correspondence; enter deadlines into Milana with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with department procedures, workflows, and best practices.
• Create and circulate reports for case teams; provide back‑up docketing for Houston and Dallas inboxes.
• Stay informed on developments in ITC, federal/state rules and the litigation lifecycle.
