Qualifications

• Five years of intellectual property litigation docketing experience in a law firm.
• Docketing experience in ITC, federal district courts, arbitration and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
• Ability to follow department procedures, work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professionalism and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Independently review patent, trademark, trade secrets and copyright litigation documents and enter deadlines into Milana.
• Provide timely responses to attorney and staff requests; verify deadlines and court rules.
• Create and circulate reports to case teams for review and confirmation of deadlines.
• Perform back-up docketing for Houston and Dallas inboxes; ensure consistency with Milana rules.
• Stay informed on developments and procedures in relevant forums and federal/state practices.
• Take on projects to improve department procedures and workflow as needed.
