J T in Denver seeks a midlevel or senior IP litigation associate to represent clients in patent disputes involving technologies such as electronic devices, semiconductors, integrated circuits, and mechanical devices. The role offers opportunities in federal district courts, the ITC, and before the PTAB.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, roughly four or more years of patent litigation experience, and must be licensed or eligible to become licensed in

Competenze

• Patent litigation experience and capabilities in developing case strategy.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the applying jurisdiction.
• Approximately four or more years of patent litigation experience and familiarity with district court litigation; ITC/PTAB experience a plus.
• Ability to manage substantial responsibilities on complex matters and work effectively as part of a team.

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and working with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
