Cooley LLP seeks an IP Docketing Specialist (Trademark, Copyright, & Advertising) to join the IP Services team. The role focuses on accurate IP docketing and client communications, supporting practitioners and paralegals with data and deadlines.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, with in-office and remote work, and requires 3+ years of relevant IP experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and IP databases. Firm benefits and a collaborative environment are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant IP experience.
• Overtime availability as required.
• Experience communicating with practitioners, paralegals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily IP docketing and de-docketing across US/foreign matters.
• Process IP correspondence with clients, foreign associates, and offices.
• Communicate actions to practitioners and teams.
• Review PTO filings and electronic filing notices (USPTO).
• Navigate USPTO PAIR, WIPO, EPO and other portals.
• Assist with data, reports and charts from IPMS.
• Ensure deadlines are tracked and followed up as needed.
• Adhere to quality checks and regulatory changes in IP prosecution.
