Job summary

Considine Search is seeking an IP Specialist to support attorneys across patent, trademark, and litigation. The role blends docket management, document preparation, client communications, and administrative coordination, with a target of 750 billable hours per year.

The candidate will manage dockets, draft and proofread documents, and prepare reporting letters while handling non-billable tasks such as invoicing coordination and conflict checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal support or IP docketing environments is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with document drafting and proofreading.
• Ability to manage calendars, filings, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Billing 750 hours/year and supporting non-billable coordination.
• Maintain docketing files and case management, upload emails/docs to docketing and DMS, update client portals.
• Prepare and format internal reports, charts, and to-do lists with accuracy.
• Draft, edit, and proofread memoranda, correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Prepare and circulate reporting letters to clients, outside counsel, or vendors.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys and oversee invoice payments/expenses.
