Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP in Dallas, TX is seeking an IP Docket Analyst to support our hybrid team. You will analyze incoming mail, input data into the IP docketing system, run daily dockets, and prepare reports for attorneys and clients.

The role requires at least three years of IP docketing experience and knowledge of US patent prosecution. You will communicate with attorneys and staff and ensure accurate, timely docketing across matters.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in IP docketing.
• US Patent prosecution knowledge required; foreign/trademark knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming correspondence related to the prosecution of intellectual property rights and input into the docketing database.
• Reconcile client, foreign agent and attorney correspondence against docketed due dates to maintain accurate daily docket.
• Research IP resources to resolve complex docketing issues and communicate updates to attorneys and staff.
• Prepare customized reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Address inaccuracies and handle related requests as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
