Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Docketing Specialist to support its Intellectual Property practice. The role focuses on maintaining the docketing system, managing critical deadlines, and assisting attorneys with a broad range of administrative docketing tasks.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently or with teams in a fast-paced setting. The position is ideally located in Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, Texas, with a hybrid

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Experience with US and foreign trademark docketing
• Knowledge of docketing software applications a plus
• Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel and Word
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 9 years experience

Responsibilities

• Creating and managing docket records, calendaring due dates, and updating docket status
• Liaising with attorneys and paralegals on actions due and related tasks
• Docketing and reviewing US and foreign prosecution mail and related matters
• Monitoring daily attorney dockets with attention to deadlines
• Intake and auditing of transfer files
• Maintain knowledge of latest IP rules domestically and internationally
• Investigate and troubleshoot docketing issues

Bachelor’s degree, preferred
