Job summary

The SDSU Research Foundation's Academy for Professional Excellence seeks a CWDS Consultant to develop specialized training and capacity for IP-CANS and CFT/CFTM models across Southern California. Remote-friendly, full-time with travel within CA; work from a home office.

You will design technical assistance, lead curriculum efforts, and coordinate with counties to implement state initiatives while ensuring high-quality coaching and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in IP-CANS and CFTMs.
• Advanced knowledge of technical assistance strategies for capacity building.
• Strong command of adult learning theory for diverse statewide audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CFT/IP-CANS training aligned with fiscal year objectives.
• Lead technical assistance engagements to translate policy into practice.
• Provide project leadership on complex program initiatives and national/state initiatives.
• Monitor regional training evaluation dashboards to inform practice.
• Travel to Riverside and San Diego for on-site meetings when needed.
• Maintain IP-CANS certification with a score of 80% or higher.
