Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking an IoT solutions consultant to design and present Internet of Things offerings that address automotive, logistics, and ecommerce challenges. You will support sales engagements, develop tailored cloud-based and edge solutions, and maintain up-to-date technical expertise across IoT platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams, and lead pilots for connected vehicle and telematics use cases while supporting the broader sales process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience
• 7-10 years in telecommunications, IT administration or network engineering with solution sales
• Experience with IoT solutions (connectivity, telematics, edge-to-cloud) in automotive, logistics, ecommerce, or autonomous vehicle environments

Responsibilities

• Engage in customer meetings to understand business needs and identify IoT solution opportunities
• Consult with sales teams and customers to develop cloud-based and IoT solutions meeting requirements
• Maintain specialist knowledge and certifications in relevant technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on IoT offerings and support projects
• Serve as a trusted IoT advisor to automotive OEMs, logistics carriers, and ecommerce operators
• Lead technical discovery, proofs of concept, and pilots for IoT use cases
