AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Test Engineering Manager in the Richmond, VA area to lead validation of IoT and computer vision products. You will guide a cross-functional team, define validation strategies, and oversee end-to-end testing across hardware, firmware, software, and cloud components.

The role emphasizes leadership, test automation, and data-driven decision making to ensure high-quality launches for Fortune 500 and growing clients. Hybrid work options may be available.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in product validation, systems engineering, integration testing, quality engineering, or product development.
• Experience leading technical teams and complex cross-functional validation programs.
• Experience validating embedded systems, including hardware-firmware integration and system-level performance.
• Experience developing and implementing automated testing frameworks to improve coverage and regression testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience with IoT, edge devices, computer vision, or large-scale connected-device deployments is highly desirable.

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Test & Validation team.
• Own product validation across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, and customer workflows.
• Define validation plans, test coverage, and release criteria with global R&D teams.
• Oversee system integration testing across device onboarding, telemetry, and data flow.
• Monitor product performance and drive improvements; manage risks and defects.
• Provide readiness reporting and go/no-go recommendations for pilots and launches.
