Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company seeks an experienced engineer II to advance our Digital Experience platforms, focusing on iOS and partner tooling used in-store. You will collaborate across product, design, backend, QA, and operations to deliver scalable, AI-assisted mobile experiences.

You will work on integrating iOS apps with GraphQL/REST APIs, ensuring reliability, testability, and production readiness while contributing to architecture and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software-development experience, including professional iOS development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, iterate, and enhance iOS applications used by Starbucks partners.
• Deliver accessible, reliable, maintainable, and well-tested features from implementation through production.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Integrate iOS applications with GraphQL and REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate across product, design, backend, QA, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Improve application quality through unit, integration, and automated UI testing.
• Participate in CI/CD, releases, and production support.
• Document technical runbooks and team tooling.
• Review AI-generated code and guidance to maintain standards.
