Job summary

Starbucks Corp. is seeking an experienced software professional to design, implement, and support scalable business solutions in a hybrid environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, QA and Development to deliver secure, reliable software. You will participate in requirements gathering, backlog refinement, and contribute to platform governance while leveraging C#, .NET, REST APIs, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional industry experience with software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Languages: C#, SQL, XAML.
• Required: C#, .NET Framework, Modern .NET (8/9/10+), ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL Server.
• Nice to have: Blazor, Azure SDKs.
• Development Framework |Tools: WPF, MVVM, .net [core|full], GIThub, ASP.net, Splunk, Jira, Confluence.
• DevOps - Required:GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD Pipelines
• Nice to have:Infrastructure as Code, Automated Testing Frameworks.
• Operation Systems: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 – 2019
• Required: REST APIs, OAuth/JWT Authentication, Certificates and key management, Event-driven architecture
• Platforms: Azure & AWS
• Required: Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Event Hub, Azure Key Vault
• Nice to have: AWS, Terraform / OpenTofu

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, decomposing, estimating, scheduling, prioritization and resource allocation exercises.
• Assists in prototypes for complex problems, building incrementally with a vision of the final product.
• Engages in the solution design process and supports requirements gathering and backlog refinement.
• Develops software solutions that are secure, durable, scalable, and accessible.
• Automates test coverage and assists with testing efforts.
• Contributes to deployment planning and data conversion approaches.
• Learns to operate in both waterfall and Agile SDLC processes.
• Partners with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, QA and Development teams.
• Contributes to platform governance and shared libraries.
• Maintains documentation for training, deployment, and operations.
