Universal Logistics is seeking an Invoicing Clerk to join our Warren, MI team. You will audit invoices, ensure accuracy, and resolve issues to keep cycles moving smoothly.

You’ll communicate with customers to gather purchase orders and required documents, using established procedures and Excel/MS Office tools in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and independence within an administrative framework.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma required, college education preferred.
• Experience with Excel and MS Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Auditing invoices to customers and comparing support documents against system data.
• Ensuring all invoices are accurate and complete using established procedures.
• Problem solving issues preventing timely completion of invoices, escalating to multiple partners until resolution is achieved.
• Communicating with customers to complete invoicing requirements, such as the receipt of purchase orders to submit invoices against.
