Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor – Logistics to lead a fast-paced team responsible for order processing, invoicing, and issue resolution. This hands-on leadership role blends account management with billing accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll supervise a customer service team, monitor workloads and service levels, and drive process improvements to increase billing accuracy and customer satisfaction in a high-volume logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of customer service, operations, or logistics leadership with direct reports.
• Experience managing customer accounts, invoicing, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Background in a high-volume logistics, transportation, supply chain, oil & gas services, or similar environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards, TMS platforms, Ariba, OpenInvoice, or similar systems is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• Manage key customer accounts from order processing through invoicing and issue resolution.
• Supervise, coach, and support a customer service team while remaining hands-on with assigned accounts.
• Oversee high-volume billing, invoicing, account inquiries, and dispute resolution.
• Review billing and operational data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Serve as an escalation point for customer issues and service disruptions.
• Partner closely with Operations, Dispatch, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Credit, and Collections.
• Support account reconciliations and resolve outstanding billing issues.
• Monitor team performance, workloads, service levels, and productivity.
• Identify process improvements to increase billing accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
