Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is a full-service provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions. This on-site role in Warren, MI supports monthly financial packages, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls within a multi-entity environment.

We seek candidates with 2–5 years in general ledger and financial reporting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with multiple ERP systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with multiple ERP and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with managers and leaders while reporting to the Segment Group Controller.
• Prepare monthly financial packages for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, including account reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and company policies.
