Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a detail-driven, finance-minded Vendor Invoice Escalations Analyst I to own escalated invoice exceptions and vendor-facing resolution across our mobile, on-site, and ERS vendor network.

Based in the United States, you will supervise escalations beyond the offshore team, coach on recurring errors, and confirm proper reconciliation of POs, dispatch records, and contracted labor rates.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related financial function with real reconciliation exposure.
• Experience resolving escalated or disputed invoice/PO/credit card discrepancies preferred.
• Experience overseeing offshore/outsourced operations a plus.
• Familiarity with Excel, Outlook; ERP/AP/procurement systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of invoice exceptions escalated beyond the offshore team’s first-line resolution.
• Serve as direct contact with vendors and with AP on payment timing and exceptions.
• Spot-check offshore output and coach on recurring error patterns.
• Review credit card transactions against documentation for proper billing.
• Match invoices against POs, dispatch records, and contracted labor rates.
• Apply no-PO/no-pay standards and flag ineffective escalation thresholds.
• Monitor invoice aging and exception volume by vendor and by offshore vs escalated resolution.
• Prepare trend reports for leadership and Vendor Management.
• Document escalation criteria and improve processes with offshore/onshore teams.
• Collaborate with Vendor Account Managers on rate-compliance questions.
