Job summary

Altera Investments is hiring an Operations Associate to support investor onboarding, services, fund accounting, and the related systems. You will work with investors, family offices, and financial advisors while ensuring records are accurate and deadlines are visible.

The role is hands-on in a close-knit team with changing priorities. You will take ownership, learn new processes independently, and escalate issues when needed.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in operations, financial services, investor services, fund administration, or accounting support.
• Strong ownership and ability to learn new systems independently.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail across multiple systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with investors and advisors.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; Salesforce helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate investor onboarding activities, data collection, and document tracking.
• Maintain accurate information across primary databases.
• Review onboarding records for completeness and escalate issues promptly.
• Support investor and financial advisor requests with clear communication.
• Maintain investor portal access, document uploads, and dashboards.
• Track capital activity, notices, and internal status reporting.
• Assist fund accounting with data entry, reconciliations, and file organization.
• Ensure documentation is compliant and well organized.
