Job summary

Prudential Financial in Newark, NJ, is seeking an Investment Operations professional to support the Alternative Investment Operations platform. The role covers deal onboarding, trade settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary market activities in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

You will interact with Portfolio Management, Legal, Fund Management, custodians, and banks to ensure accurate execution and timely portfolio support. A 3-day in-office hybrid schedule is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Financial Services.
• Experience with Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Private Credit, or restructures preferred.
• Advanced MS Office skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively facilitate deal execution with deal team and counsel.
• Capture and maintain trading activity in OMS with IBOR accuracy.
• Manage end-to-end wire payments, funding, settlement and controls.
• Coordinate and execute private asset transfers.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports for decisions.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
