Inventory / Workforce Management Lead/Deployment System Lead - AMIR
As a consultant within the DE team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.
Leads development of advanced application features and integrations that optimize performance and scalability. Partners with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards.
This position supports the AMI Replacement project by leading the successful delivery of inventory tracking, workforce management, and deployment routing systems that support communication module lifecycle management. These systems are mission‑critical, highly integrated, and span multiple vendors, operational teams, and technical domains. Dedicated technical leadership is required to ensure alignment, quality, and readiness across the end‑to‑end solution.
Co‑leads with the System Integrator Lead to define complex technical software requirements, solution design, testing strategies, and cutover plans supporting inventory tracking of communication modules, workforce management, and routing deployment systems.
Manages the Advanced Meter Infrastructure Replacement (AMIR) and System Integrator vendors to develop a project schedule, defines deliverables, ensure software quality, and achieve established milestones and objectives.
Leads cross‑functional teams through end‑to‑end testing, ensuring successful validation and readiness of inventory tracking and deployment systems.
Serves as an escalation point for complex technical issues, leading investigations and permanent solutions.
Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement, development, and maintenance efforts.
Develops robust backend logic, optimizes front‑end performance, and ensures seamless system integrations.
Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments.
Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology to manage development activities.
Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Required: Requires 8 years of related experience.
Preferred: 4 years of experience leading complex software implementations involving cross‑functional teams, external vendors, and downstream applications.
