Job summary

Canon Business Process Services in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Warehouse Data Entry Clerk to enter, track, and maintain inventory within the Warehouse Management System. This role sits in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

You will validate work orders, organize incoming orders, and support production planning while ensuring accurate data entry and reports. Prior WMS and SAP experience is a plus, along with strong Excel/Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with Warehouse Management modules and a WMS.
• Strong problem solving in a dynamic team environment.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• SAP experience within a WMS is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of materials distribution and inventory management.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and transactional knowledge.
• Able to work in a changing, dynamic environment.
• Good Excel/Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate work orders and reporting through the WMS
• Organize incoming orders
• Maintain timely and accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and archiving
• Support production planning as required
• Maintain inventory at vendor locations
• Support supply area and warehouse inventory accuracy
• Create and manage purchase requisitions, delivery documents, pick tickets, cycle count sheets and standard reports
• Troubleshoot production orders, receiving, inventory discrepancies and other transactional issues
• Assist warehouse in order issues, product returns and nonconforming product
• Determine root cause of order/transactions and develop process improvements
• Synergize operations across manufacturing cells and warehouse
